Most people know about good ol' J&M. They are a standard mid-tier every-man's "nice" dress shoe. What you need to know is they have tiers of shoes that can play at Allen Edmonds level, for about $100 less. Meet the Cormac Cap Toe, this shoe is a part of their "Handmade in Italy" collection, their top-shelf shoe line. If you are going to invest in shoes, don't skimp out on the $175 everyday J&M that will wear out in 2 years, and have your cobbler yelling at you about how "they don't use real leather on the bottoms of their shoes!" and "the dang heal is made of cardboard!" Invest the extra $100 and get a pair of these. They are hand stained and burnished so every pair is a little different, they are lightweight, have simple yet power styling, and have a pad on the bottom of the sole so you won't be slipping up steps for the first month you wear them. J&M is also known for being a comfortable shoe, however a note to the buyer, since these are handmade, they will need a little breaking in, like a good shoe should.

Gold Foil City Map

Wurkin Stiffs Polo Stays

If you couldn't tell, we are big fans of the people over at Wurkin Stiffs. Mostly for their work involving magic, but also because they make some solid men's products. These Polo Stays fall into the magic category, not just because they involve magnets but also because these have crazy sticking power. "How do they work?" you ask, strap in.

You place the large metal plate adhesive-side down against the underside at the points of your collar, fold the collar down like normal, and place the magnets on the inside of the shirt where the collar points lay. And BAM your fly away collars on your polos and any shirt without collar stay slots are gone for good. But wait, won't the sticky-plates fall off in the wash? Not for at least 20 washes, and if you apply heat once you stick them on, they should last even longer. We use them all the time, and will never go back.

Theory Linen Crewneck

Crew necks are a staple of the cool spring and summer nights, but a linen crewneck? It's pretty rare, and we aren't sure why because this 90% linen, 10% nylon (aka LEMAIR) is pretty darn cool, and we mean that in both senses of the word. The linen keeps you cool and makes the top breathable, while the nylon makes it smooth to the touch. A couple of notes: the shirt is a little sheer and will fit a little loose, but its supposed to be that way, so don't go with a smaller size and don't play sports in it, also it's dry clean only so don't throw it in with your darks. We suggest you wear it with dark wash jeans, khaki shorts, or even white chinos.
